Vejledning til box-plot på Texas TI-83.

 

For et ugrupperet observationssæt:

 

  1. Først tømmes listen L1.

a)      STAT

b)     ClrList

c)      L1

 

  1. Nu skal observationssættet tastes ind i L1.

a)      STAT

b)     EDIT

c)      Indtast observationerne én efter én.

      

  1. Nu skal box-plot vælges.

a)      STAT PLOT

b)     Vælg Plot 1, sæt cursoren på ON

c)      Vælg box-plot ikonet (se grafen på s. 149)

 

  1. Indstil WINDOW

a)      Xmin skal være mindre end den mindste observation.

b)     Xmax skal være større ned den største observation.

 

  1. Tegn grafen

a)      GRAPH

 

 

Øvelse nr. 1 til box-plot.

 

Lav et box-plot til følgende observationssæt:

 

2-4-5-4-3-8-9-12-1-5-7-2-5-9-11-7

 

 

Aflæs 1. kvartil, medianen samt 3. kvartil.
